It's that time of year when NTFC wants everyone to dust off their Fieros and enjoy a day full of activities with our club members. Spring Fling take place of our regularly schedule March club meeting and this year will be no different. The format our little event usually involves eating, cruising, socializing, more eating, and BS'ing, we usually stay within the DFW metroplex but this year is a little different. Our Fiero brethren North of the Red River wanted to create some camaraderie between clubs, we usually only get to see them once or twice a year and that is just too long. The Oklahoma Fiero Club wanted to join together and have picnic before the hot weather and car activities over take us. So NTFC thought it would be a great combine the two ideas into one, Spring Fling will be north of the Red River this year. We will Love's Truck stop north of Denton at 10am and caravan to Two Frogs Grill in Ardmore to have lunch around noon. After squaring up, we'll find a place to Fling the Spring. I think we will then cruise the circle road of Lake Murray. We may stop at that tower thing again. We will go back to the park that we did the Ruckus 9 games, and share cokes and drinks in the shaded picnic area. You might want to bring a travel cooler with some drinks to share. You know there will be the highly coveted Spring Fling trophies for distance and accuracy to be bestowed!

Towards supper, I plan on stopping in to eat some of the regions most famous catfish at McGehee's Catfish Restaurant, which is only open for weekend’s supper. They serve steak, burgers, and catfish raised ON SITE!

After supper, we might saunter over to Winstar and support the Oklahoma economy… though I have heard the casino is massively busy on Saturday nights. Other ideas welcome too!
